South Korea Visa

1. 1 pc passport sized colored picture (white background)
2. Original passport (at least 6 months valid beyond intended stay)
3. Copy of passport data page
4. Original copy of valid visas and arrival stamps to OECD member countries for the past 5 years
5. Original personal bank certificate (must include account type, current balance, account opening date, and average daily balance for the last 6months).
6. Original bank statement or certified true copy of passbook for the last 3 months
7. Photocopy of ITR (Income Tax Return) or Form 2316
8. Original PSA Marriage contract (if applicable)
9. Original PSA Birth certificate (if applicable)Note: Korean Embassy in Cebu requirements may vary.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

FOR EMPLOYEES

• Original employment certificate (must include applicant’s position, date hired, compensation, office address, HR landline numbers and e-mail address) office mobile number is not allowed as contact number of the company.
• Copy of PRC /IBP ID (if applicable only)
• Copy of company ID

FOR BUSINESSMEN

• Copy of business registration from DTI or SEC
• Copy of business permit or mayor’s permit
• Copy of Certificate of Registration (COR)
• Copy of PRC /IBP ID (if applicable only)

FOR STUDENT MINORS

• Original school certification
• Copy of school ID
• Original PSA birth certificate
• Parent’s documents (original bank certificate and bank statement or passbook for the last 3 months, original COE, copy business documents and ITR)
• Original PSA marriage certificate

FOR RETIREE

• Copy of senior citizen card or retirement documents
• Original of PSA marriage contract (If travelling with spouse)

FOR FOREIGN NATIONALS

• Copy of i-card

IF THE COMPANY WILL SHOULDER THE TRIP

• Guarantee letter from the company
• Original bank certificate of the company
• Copy of business documents and ITR of the company

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

If invited to Korea

• Invitation letter containing the relevant information of both the applicant and the inviter must be written in Hangul. (It should include at least two contact numbers and contact persons, the complete name of the invitee/s, a detailed explanation of the purpose of the trip, travel period, and a guarantee of the invitee’s return to the Philippines immediately after the trip)
• Copy of 1st page of inviter’s passport or identification card (if personally invited by Korean)
• Copy of Korean company business permit (if invited by company in Korea)
• Additional requirements may be required upon releasing of passport.

SPECIAL NOTES

• Simplified Visa Requirements for below eligible applicants effective February 01, 2024 are exempted to submit financial documents such as original bank certificate, bank statement, and photocopy of ITR:
• Elected Politicians such as Members of the Senate, Members of the Congress, Governors, Provincial Board Members, Mayors
• Government officials such as persons with a rank higher or equal to Assistant Secretary of the Executive Branch of the PH Government, and Brigadier General of the AFP or PNP (excluding those in acting duties)
• Professional license holders such as Physicians, Dentists, Pharmacists, Veterinarians, Lawyers, and Certified Public Accountants (with valid PRC ID or IBP ID)
• BDO, BPI, RCBC, METROBANK, Gold or Elite Credit card holders (excluding supplementary credit card holders)
• Personal appearance is not required (unless the Embassy request for it).
